DEPARTMENT OF POST-MORTEM LABOR · ANDROID GAME IN DEVELOPMENT

Mortal
Resources.

Failure feeds progression. The paperwork feeds on everything else.

The Department has a vacancy. Take an assignment into the Underworks, decide how much danger is worth carrying home, and discover what happens when the person on the payroll doesn’t make it back.

THE CORE LOOP

Every descent
has an exit. Probably.

One-handed play and short, consequential runs guide the design. The route from assignment to consequences is being exercised in private builds; combat feel and pacing remain active work.

01 / ASSIGNMENT

Take the job.

Choose a field assignment and prepare a hero for the Underworks.

02 / DESCENT

Make it count.

Face timing-based encounters while loot and risk ask you to go one floor deeper.

03 / EXTRACTION

Know when to leave.

Bank what you earned, or push your claim and accept the consequences.

04 / DEPARTMENT

Report back. Somehow.

Survival advances the factory. Death leads to custody, reanimation, and a fresh assignment.

A RUN DOES NOT VANISH

Useful even when
you aren’t.

Bone, Souls, Essence, and equipment feed the factory’s longer progression. The aim is a run where extraction feels like a real choice and a failed expedition still changes what you can do next.

The opening story connects intake, field work, claims, extraction, and the Department’s response. Recent private-build work also expanded the dashboard, Mana and Skills presentation, and the custody-to-Auditor route.

DEVELOPMENT REPORT

A working first route.
Not a finished game.

Private Android playtest builds connect the opening assignment through encounters, loot, claims, extraction, factory progression, and the consequences of death. The team is still tuning combat feedback, readability, pacing, accessibility, and production art. Screens on this site will return when they can be sourced from a current validated build.
